Anja Gockel from Mainz is a very
smart and intelligent fashion designer. She always work thrilled with the
unusual women fashion for women all types. She was born in Mainz in 1968. She
studied fashion design in Hamburg and at the prestigious fashion school,
Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. She worked briefly
for Vivianne Westwood and gained a lot of experience.
In 1996, she founded her own
fashion label "Anja Gockel" in London, returned in 2000, but returned
to their hometown of Mainz and has been creating clothes for the customers from
all over the world. Meanwhile her collections in more than 20 countries are
sold in over 100 boutiques worldwide.
Anja Gockel's creations twice a
year at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin presented. Typical of their
design, their colorful prints and high quality materials, which are
complemented by opulent embroidery, appliqué and draping. It is important to
her to make designer fashion wearable for every type of woman. Therefore, it

was the winner of the Creativity Award in the U.S., this was followed by the
2012 German Lifestyle Award for fashion and marketing. Anja Gockel now lives
with her husband and four children in Mainz and is involved as an ambassador of
"matter of the heart, the children's aid campaign" SWR and SR for
disadvantaged children and young people in Rhineland-Palatinate.
